Construction Sites in Rail Operations

Construction sites exacerbate the tension between planning and operational reality in rail operations. Responsibility for the feasibility of transport services shifts to the planners at the railway undertakings, while at the same time inconsistent and dynamic data creates additional risks. Railway Construction Site Manager and Dynamic Timetable mitigate these effects through automated data processing and consolidated provision of timetable information. This reduces the workload for planners and train drivers.
