Between Planning and Reality - Construction Sites in Rail Operations
Railway Construction Site Management (catkin GmbH) and Dynamic Schedule (cn-mobility GmbH) bridge planning and operations.

With the introduction of DiLoc®| Motion as a central dispatching and passenger information system, Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn (SZU) can now track all vehicles and automatically or manually register disruptions to the route network. All real-time data, such as disruptions and delays, are automatically communicated via the new data hub.
In accordance with the planned migration strategy, we worked closely with SZU to develop an interface to the interlocking system for locating the vehicles and to connect the overhead displays at the stations, as well as the upgraded station amplifiers, directly to DiLoc|Motion.
Further projects are already being planned together with SZU for the continuous optimization and further development of DiLoc®| Motion. In addition, it is expected that all vehicles will be equipped with DiLoc|OnBoard so that passengers can also be informed in real time in the vehicles. We look forward to our continued partnership in order to offer SZU passengers modern, reliable and demand-oriented passenger information.
