Appenzeller Bahnen AG - upgrading a traffic light system control
An intelligent traffic light system (LSA) is being used to optimize the flow of traffic in St. Gallen. In order to utilize the advantages of traffic signal control, the rail vehicles operating in the city will be equipped with appropriate communication devices and antennas to communicate with the traffic signal systems.
As previous studies have shown that the existing GPS positioning of the vehicles is not sufficiently accurate for the increased requirements of traffic light technology, cn-mobility will also be improving the positioning accuracy of the vehicles.
We look forward to supporting Appenzeller Bahnen in improving the punctuality of the vehicles and thus further increasing passenger comfort and satisfaction.
DiLoc®|OnBoard Jungfrau Bahnen, BLM - Commissioning of the first vehicles
As part of the renewal of the Grütschalp-Mürren adhesion railroad, three new Stadler Rail railcars will be in operation starting in June 2024. The complete passenger information system, which has already been statically commissioned in the vehicles by Stadler, will be supplied by cn-mobility.
All DiLoc®|OnBoard functions are currently undergoing extensive testing with the final tasks being completed. Following the subsequent dynamic commissioning, passengers will be greeted and reliably accompanied by new real-time passenger information, among other things, starting with the planned commissioning in June 2024.
